How to Use the Waist-to-Hip Ratio Calculator

  1. Select your gender.
  2. Measure your waist (narrowest point) and hip (widest point) in cm.

Formula Used

Ratio = Waist (cm) / Hip (cm)
Risk thresholds: male > 0.90, female > 0.85

Example: 80 cm waist / 98 cm hips = 0.82 โ†’ low risk for a female.
