How to Use the Retirement Calculator

  1. Enter your current age and target retirement age.
  2. Add your current savings and planned monthly contribution.
  3. Set a realistic expected annual return.
  4. Click Calculate to project your balance at retirement and estimated monthly income over a 30-year drawdown.

Formula Used

Balance = P(1 + r)n + PMT × [((1 + r)n − 1) / r]

Example: $25,000 plus $500/month at 7% from age 30 to 65 grows to roughly $1,190,000. A cautious 3.5% withdrawal rate supports about $3,470 per month of retirement income.
